The Central Bible Reading Plan is an initiative of Central Baptist Church to encourage everyone to read, learn, and live Scripture together.  This will be an ongoing effort with different plans throughout the times.  The long-term goal is that every few years, everyone who follows this plan will have read through the entire Bible.

The current reading plan is not too burdensome for a normal reader, who can read the selected passage each day in addition to other personal devotional material if he chooses. There are no additional resources; just reading Scripture. It will be beneficial to have a consistent church-wide effort of reading the Bible together.

Two measures of accountability will be in place to help encourage readers:

1- Sunday School classes will begin with asking if people read; there will then be a short amount of time given to allow anyone to share what really helped them through the week from the reading, or something in the week’s reading that meant a lot to them or really challenged them.

2- Online. Pastor Ryan will be writing posts occasionally here on this website of something he was challenged by in the reading.  People are encouraged to read those posts and leave their own comments on it to allow it to become a collaboration of responses to the Scripture.
